The Camel's Hump

The Camel's Hump

Assalamualaikum wa Rahmatulahi wa Barakatu,

I am in the middle of preparing some new material insha'Allah, but in the mean time, I thought that I would share some favourite old posts of mine that I have written. These posts may be new to some of you and may be old my awesome readers masha'Allah, but all in all, it never gets old because the subjects are an ongoing problem in today's society!

Enjoy!

To proceed,

This incredible animal has always marveled me. They can go without water for weeks, without food for a month, their eyelashes help keep the sand out of their eyes, their thick lips allows them to eat prickly plants in the desert, they can withstand high heat, and they store fat in their humps (not water, as many believe). Often we also see travelers and tourists riding on top of the camel's hump.

So why did I choose to talk about the camel's hump?

Often I see a similar hump on the top of some Muslimah's head. I wonder, what is the purpose of putting one's hair into a bun so high even a tall man wouldn't be able to see over her hump! You may chuckle at this thought but it really is disappointing. Lately, the Muslimahs have totally ignored the importance of the hijab and the proper way of wearing one. I am a new Muslim and for me I had to experience much trial and error to wear the hijab the PROPER way. That is, covering ALL of your hair, no high ponytail hump, and no fancy hijab patterns that are hard on the eyes. Is this so difficult to do? I guess for some, yes it is. The whole purpose of the hijab is clearly explained in Surah An-Nur, Verses 30 and 31:

'And Say to the believing women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts) and not to show off their adornment except only that which is apparent (like both eyes for necessity to see the way, or outer palms of hands or one eye or dress like veil, gloves, head-cover, apron), and to draw their veils all over Juyubihinna (i.e. their bodies, faces, necks and bossoms) and not to reveal their adornment except to their husbands, or their fathers, or their husband's fathers, or their sons, or their husband's sons, or their brothers or their brother's sons, or their sister's sons, or their (Muslim women) (i.e. sisters in Islam), or the (female) slaves whom their right hands possess, or old male servants who lack vigour, or small children who have no sense of feminine sex. And let them not stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment. And all of you beg Allah to forgive you all, O believers, that you may be successful'

Sisters, do you think that this is mentioned in the Qur'an because Allah just felt like throwing in a verse to fill up space??? AstughfurAllah. Do you disrespect yourself that much to be disrespectful to Allah your Creator? I don't mean to be harsh, but when Muslimahs are disrespecting the Qur'an and the Sunnah, they are also disrespecting me as well as half the Muslimah population who actually want to please their Lord. Are you not afraid of the Hellfire? Is this dunya so important to you that you totally ignore what your Creator has written for you?
Sure, only Allah can judge his servants, and I am not one to judge, but when it is apparent that one wears their hijab in a way that is against the Qur'an and Sunnah does that mean they are pious?

How can one be pious and a weak servant to Allah when it says NOWHERE in the Qur'an that you may wear your hijab showing half of your hair or wearing hijabs with flashy coloured patterns! A woman who wants to wear the hijab with a high hump like a camel will get nowhere near Paradise.
It is stated in Hadith - Sahih Muslim, #6840, Narrated Abu Hurayrah
Allah's Apostle  said: There are two types, amongst the denizens of Hell, I have yet not seen them. One possessing whips like the tail of an ox and they flog people with them. (The second one) the women who would be naked in spite of their being dressed, who are seduced (to wrong paths) and seduce others with their hair high like humps. These women would not get into Paradise and they would not perceive the odour of Paradise, although its fragrance can be perceived from such and such distance (from great distance).

If you are thinking " well, I really want to enter Paradise but I know Allah will forgive me if I repent" or " tomorrow I will wear my hijab the right way, but I'm worried I won't look beautiful".
I've had the many chances and opportunities to "let my hair loose and have fun" but then I stopped caring so much when I realised, what is the point really to beautify myself for others? Why should I beautify myself for people who I will never see in my life ever again? For someone who doesn't even know my name? What is the point of putting all this effort into looking "hot" for society? I'm not even a celebrity! And I even bet you a celebrity would wish they could go out in public without having to put all that garbage on their faces! How nice it would be for them to just go out and be natural without having to worry about their face caught on camera without any makeup.
Then here we are wearing a hijab that barely covers our hair, and modifying our hijabs to look like some Queen of Arabia.
I, who used to be a non-Muslim studying fashion, wanted so badly to fit into society. I wanted everyone to look at me and think "wow what a beautiful girl!" I wanted the attention and the praise of people I knew and didn't know. I knew this was because I had low self-esteem and the only way I would feel happy with myself was if I "modified" my natural beauty to hide the discontentment I had living inside of me. I had nothing else to offer to the world except my beauty.
Make-up? It comes off at the end of the day. Clothes? Does it really matter what the latest trend is when you are pregnant? Accessories? They all will become outdated, hence the word "trend".
The only true identity you have is your hijab. Your hijab represents your religion, your way of life. Your commitment to serving Allah. Your hijab is not something the Western culture has, and will never have. So why are you so obsessed with the West? The worldy life is only temporary and it is a facade. I find it as my duty as a Muslimah to stress the importance of wearing your hijab properly as it is the one thing that the West, or anyone can never take away from you.Your identity.

Remember sisters, the only hump that belongs on the back is of the camels and not your head! We are not animals, we are human beings!
So please, fix your hijab!

I love you all for the sake of Allah, and sometimes, some tough loving' is the reality check we all need.

<3 Khadijah'
Assalamualaikum Wa Rahmatulahi wa Barakatu,

A year and a half ago, if I was asked this question I would have answered " What is The Day of Judgement?"

I was so well absorbed into the dunya that the thought of a life after death was, well, not really a thought at all. I always thought that there was life after death, but I thought that after death a new life would start and we would keep being reincarnated into something of an animal or a human being with a better life. As I am writing this, I find myself with a smile as the thought of reincarnation is rather amusing. The thought of a new life beginning on earth after your previous death is a very entertaining thought to say the least! However, I used to think like this, and sadly many people still do.

Life after death? Yes.
But the next life is either in The Gardens of Paradise or in the Hellfire. So which one is it for you? Only Allah knows. You don't even know where you will go but all you can do is prepare for this Day.

Though I just entered into Islam not long ago I already feel the need to up my good deeds and make sure that the scale over-weighs the bad deeds scale. I will tell you this much, though I struggled with different things in my past life, I now have to struggle with new things in my new life. But of course life is nothing but a test and what I like to call a "pit stop". To test us and to keep testing us to see how strong our Deen is and how strong our desire is to meet Our Creator on The Day.

Perhaps if you take everything away from the dunya and put it aside for one minute and just picture yourself on a journey in the desert. You have your camel, the map to your destination, and the pit stops to rest and recover. Along the way you will encounter things that are unnatural and displeasing. You will discover that the weather will not always be to your liking and you may struggle many times during your journey to find a place to sit under the shade to take to a break.

"Know that the life of this world (dunya) is only play and amusement, pomp and mutual boasting among you, and rivalry in respect of wealth and children… the life of this world is only a deceiving enjoyment."(Al-Hadid 57:20)

Your journey is exhausting but you keep reminding yourself that the end destination is an island full of pure, sheer beauty. An island where the water is so blue it is almost white from the sun's reflection. An island where there are no worries, nothing unnatural or displeasing. An island where all the inhabitants are of the purest souls and most kind-hearted. An island where you will be taken care of. An island called Paradise.

So would it really be worth it to get lost in the wrong direction?

You're exhausted, struggling to find the food and water that will keep you going, you feel flustered and confused, you are so tempted to just give up on your journey and call it a day. But then you think about the well sought out plan that you had. The plan to arrive at your destination no matter how weak and long it will take, you are not going to give up! Patience and perseverance is what will get you through this journey. Knowing that you are not alone on your journey is your number one motivator. You know that Allah will help guide you as long as you keep seeking refuge in Him and as long as you put all your trust in Him. He will guide you on the right path towards your final destination. Though there will be poisonous animals and heavy rain storms, Allah has told you to ignore everything and continue on because He is waiting for you.
"Verily, the Promise of Allâh is true, let not then this (worldly) present life deceive you, nor let the chief deceiver (Satan) deceive you about Allâh." (Luqman 31:33)
So, again, would you want to take a shortcut not knowing where it will lead you to? Or would you rather follow the map to your final destination?
Called Paradise.

Assalamualaikum wa Rahmatulahi wa Barakatu.

This is not the first time I've received unacceptable comments from Shias. But this one stuck out to me and I thought I would share with you and expose this dirty coward. Please excuse the degrading language made by this uneducated low-class individual. I apologize for their lack of intellect and knowledge with words they need to use to express their hatred for the Sahabah and Sahabiyat .
It's one thing to curse me which I don't hold any offence to except find amusement in it , but to curse the companions and wives of the prophet (sallahu aleyhi wasselem)?????!!!! That's a whole new league of its own.

Also, the fact that some lackadaisical Muslims have told me not to blog about this or to have patience instead and not expose the sins of Muslims? I would like to mention, the daleel about those who curse the sahabah and sahabiyyat. The degree of this sin is to that which can consider these Shia to be a 'kafir' and a 'hypocrite' (please see post on Shias) so should we not warn the people about such deviance!!?? PEOPLE WITH A RIGHT MIND AND WHO FEAR ALLAH, WILL WARN THE UMMAH AGAINST SUCH ATROCIOUS DEVIANCE. Please educate yourselves first and foremost about who the Shia are. If you think that I should keep quiet about so-called "Muslims" who CURSE THE SAHABAH, CURSE THE MOTHER OF BELIEVERS , and celebrate the death of Aisha radiallahu anhu, then you are basically one of the Shia. I am sick and tired of sisters telling me that I need to keep quiet and not talk about the ignorance of others. BY the way, backbiting is allowed if it is warning against people who are spreading deviance and innovation. Normally I would post the daleel for you, but I figure, it seems many Muslimahs these days have been ignorant much, so why not give you the opportunity to do a little research for yourselves?

" If I were to remain silent, how would the ignorant masses know truth from falsehood?" Those who introduce heretical writings and deviant religious rites contrary to Qur'ân and Sunnah have to be exposed and the Muslim nation warned against them according to the unanimous agreement of Muslim scholars (Ahmed Hanbal Rahimahullah)

...and who said I don't have patience? insha'Allah I will be waiting until the Day of Judgement for Allah to expose this fool amongst many others. May Allah protect us all from shirk, bid'aah , and evil people like those who curse the prophets (sallalahu aleyhi wasselem) companions. Ameen

I'd like to also say: have you no passion or care for our sahaba and sahabiyat ? Not blog about such atrocious behaviour to warn the rest of the Ummah? I'm sorry but I will blog about it and warn the Ummah of the deviant sects out there so that we all insha'Allah educate ourselves on the CORRECT AQEEDAH and MANHAJ of the Prophet sallahu aleyhi wasselem. I am just doing my duty as a Muslim.

AstughfurAllah , seriously , what is the world coming to?)

Please take the time to read and reflect as to what kind of people are out there.
If you think for one minute Shia are Muslims..please read this comment that was left on one my posts (which I obviously did not publish)

This comment deserves it's own blog post.
I have no words to say except you wait until the Day of Judgement when Allah holds you accountable for this comment! You dirty oppressor !

The last time I got some rude remarks made to be about being "slanty" eyed was in grade 1 by a bunch of little kids. This just shows the level of intellect that many of these Shia's have.
Oh, and for the record, my eyes are not slanty nor is my skin yellow. Perhaps you should also educate yourself on Chinese people and also some MANNERS.

Lol, what a dumb b****. Sunnis are Kaffir, because they love the Sahaba. Hey, asian girl, look at this: "Our belief about tabarra is that we should loathe the four idols, i.e Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman and Muawiyah, and the four women i.e Aisha, Hafza, Hind and Umm Hakam, and their followers also, and that these are the worst creatures of God, and that the belief in God, and Messenger and Imams will not be completed till we loathe their these enemies." Haqqul Yaqin , p. 519 This is what our greatest classical Shia scholar said. Eat that, you yellow, slanty eyed, asian on The Status of Women in Islam

Shaykh al-Islam ibn Tayyimah said:

This refers to one who slanders some of the Sahaabah. But if a person slanders all of the Sahaabah, then he is undoubtedly a kaafir. The same applies if he slanders one of the Sahaabah just because he is a Sahaabi, because this is demeaning the virtue of the Sahaabah and indirectly slandering the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). So undoubtedly the person who does this is a kaafir. Based on this, the words of al-Tahhaawi, “and hating them is kufr” should be understood as meaning that hating all of the Sahaabah is undoubtedly kufr, but if a person slanders a Sahaabi not because he is a Sahaabi but for some personal reason, and that Sahaabi was, for example, one of those who became Muslim before the Conquest of Makkah and of whose virtue we are certain – such as the Raafidis who slander the two Shaykhs [Abu Bakr and ‘Umar] – then al-Qaadi Husayn stated that the one who slanders the two Shaykhs is a kaafir.
The reason for the scholarly dispute on this issue is if a person slanders a specific person it may be for some personal reason, or he may hate someone for a worldly reason etc. This does not imply that he is a kaafir. But undoubtedly if he hates one of the two Shaykhs because he was a companion of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), then this is kufr, and indeed hating any of the Sahaabah who was lower in status than two Shaykhs just because he was a companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) is also definitely kufr.
Fataawa al-Subki, 2/575.

BEWARE OF THESE SHIAS who will make their way around blogs spreading their lack of knowledge, their low class attitude, their lack of akhlaq, and their disbelief .
May Allah give them all what they deserve in this dunya and the akhirah Ameen.

ground zero @ the WTC, you going to blame the Muslims on this one?

Assalamualaikum wa Rahmatulahi wa barakatu,
This is what humans say about Hurricanes:

"A hurricane is a type of tropical cyclone or severe tropical storm that forms in the southern Atlantic Ocean, Caribbean Sea, Gulf of Mexico, and in the eastern Pacific Ocean. A typical cyclone is accompanied bythunderstorms, and in the Northern Hemisphere, a counterclockwise circulation of winds near the earth’s surface.
A hurricane is a type of tropical cyclone or severe tropical storm that forms in the southern Atlantic Ocean, Caribbean Sea, Gulf of Mexico, and in the eastern Pacific Ocean. A typical cyclone is accompanied bythunderstorms, and in the Northern Hemisphere, a counterclockwise circulation of winds near the earth’s surface." (http://www.ready.gov/hurricanes)

But in reality, this is the reason for all major calamities in the world, Allah says, " Evil (sins and disobedience of Allaah, etc.) has appeared on land and sea because of what the hands of men have earned (by oppression and evil deeds, etc.), that Allaah may make them taste a part of that which they have done, in order that they may return (by repenting to Allaah, and begging His Pardon)."(Ar-Rum, ayah 41)

Do you ever have a moment where you just want to address the nation and tell them to WAKE UP, SMARTEN UP, & PICK UP THE QUR'AN?
Well, I have many of these moments, but when I see "natural disasters" that sweep a certain country by storm, I can't help but need to write a post about it. I also want to remind everyone, Muslims and Non-Muslims about this verse from the Qur'an : "and whatever of misfortune befalls you, it is because of what your hands have earned, and He pardons much.}"  [Ash-shuraa 42:30]

As many of us have seen and heard, Hurricane "Sandy" has been busy demolishing and eating up everything in it's way. I don't refer to these storms by names that meteorologist have given them, simply because I don't look at these "natural disasters" as natural (as many think they are caused by some lady known as "mother nature".) They do not happen because of "mother nature" nor do they happen because of a shift in this or a shift in that. They simply happen because of Allah. Violent storms and winds are true signs from our Creator. The eminent scholar, Ibn Uthaimeen (May Allah have mercy on him) said: “And we do not negate the fact that there are tangible reasons for it, but who is the one who provides these tangible reasons?  Verily, the tangible reasons do not exist, except with the command of Allah, the Mighty, and Majestic. Allah, by His wisdom, has made for everything, a reason, or a tangible reason.
We see many people helpless, frightened, and scurrying to over stock in emergency supplies. Does it ever occur to them to even stop for one second before calamity befalls them, and to think where exactly does this angry storm come from? No, of course not. People think that they can save themselves from calamity as long as they prepare and find a "safe" place to hide. NOWHERE IS SAFE FROM ALLAH because if He wanted to He will destroy you. He will destroy anything and everything around you, behind you, and beside you. He is the ALMIGHTY. How funny it is that we humans think we are just so strong and tough? All the money in the world couldn't even save you from one BIG STRIKING WAVE from the ocean which Allah has sent forth!
How can your wealth save you from an earthquake, a fire, or a tornado? No, there is no such thing as "being at the wrong place at the wrong time" because Allah is the one who set you there at the right place, and the right time, on HIS schedule. WAKE UP & REFLECT!
{And how many signs in the heavens and the earth they pass by, while they are apathetic towards them} [Yusuf 12:105]
How sad it is, when we only cry and reflect on life when there is a universal disaster that strikes us? How pathetic it is when we cry for "god" during the times of despair over trials and tribulations. Then once everything is over, we show no gratitude to our one true Creator and we go on continuing to live our clueless, sinful lives?
If only we reflected upon the Qur'an and learnt what Allah has said over and over again.
{‘O you who believe! Remember Allah’s favor upon you, when there came against you hosts and We sent against them a wind and forces that you saw not (i.e. troops of angels during the battle of Al-Ahzab [the confederates]).  And Allah is ever All-seer of what you do. [Al-Ahzab 33:9]

“And to Solomon (we subjected) the wind, strongly raging, running by His command towards the land which We have blessed; and of everything We are the All-Knower.”  [Al-Anbiya 21:81]

“ so We punished each (of them) for his sins, of them

were some on whom We set hasib (a violent wind with

shower of stones) [As the people of Lut (lot)], and of

them, were some who were overtaken by as-saihad

(torment-awful cry, (as Thamud’s or Shuaib’s people)],

and of them were some whom We caused the earth to

swallow [as Qarun (Korah)], and of them were some

whom We drowned [ as the people of Nuh (Noah), or the

Firaun (Pharaoh) and his people]. It was not Allah who

wronged them; rather they wronged them-selves.

[Al-‘Ankabut 29:40]

{and in ‘Ad (there is also a sign) when We sent against them the barren wind; it spared nothing that it, but blew it into spreads of rotten ruins} [Az-zariyat 51:41-42]
{As for Ad, they were destroyed by furious violent wind!}  [Al-Haqqah 69:6]

I am a true believer of JUSTICE. When people say "well God doesn't do harm, God isn't mean, God isn't this and that and blah blah blah...", well I say " WELL DO YOU KNOW GOD? You all think God is a person who died on the cross, you also think that God needs to take a day off to 'rest' after He created the universe" but the real truth can be found in the Qur'an :

Surah Al-Ikhlas 114 (The Unity)
" Say, "He is Allah , [who is] One,
 Allah , the Eternal Refuge.
He neither begets nor is born,
Nor is there to Him any equivalent."" ( 112:1-4)

Allah does not sleep, eat, nor rest.
He is the Almighty, The All Knowing, The Owner, The Creator.
He created the heavens and the earth and everything in between.
He causes life and He causes death.
So He does as He pleases.

No doubt that it is sad that many innocent lives are lost, but earning the Wrath of Allah is a much greater issue. Denying and disobeying in The MOST MERCIFUL ? What do you expect? He has granted us much respite, SO MUCH MERCY and still we sit back and twiddle our thumbs and call it a day!
Learn your Creator before you return to your Creator, but by then it will be too late.

Hurricane "Sandy" isn't the first signs of Allah and His wrath, remember the Earthquake in Japan? Well, PLEASE refresh your memory with this CHILLING POST .

ATTENTION PLEASE:

ASSALAMUALAIKUM WA RAHMATULAHI WA BARAKATU!

As many of you know, I have mentioned many times about our non-profit organization "Pious Muslimah Inititaive", which now has been given the new name "Pink Salam". For more information please check out my blog posts on the kind of work we have been doing (Sadaqah & Sadaqah II ).

The reason for the name change is because we wanted something shorter, catchier, and straight to the point. Though Pious Muslimah Initiative (PMI) is a great name, it is rather long and it seems to only attract Muslimahs. The new "makeover" of Pink Salam, is focussing on the same concept of Sadaqah (charity) but also gearing mainly towards Dawah to Muslims and Non-Muslims, adhering strictly to the Qur'an and Sunnah. We aim to unite sisters only from all over the world by bringing everyone together for one purpose, and that is to SPREAD ISLAM THE PEACEFUL WAY , THROUGH THE QUR'AN AND SUNNAH and also through Sadaqah. Our website is still under construction but our projects are listed on our site www.pinksalamteam.blogspot.com . If you would like to volunteer feel free to contact me for a brief interview.

That being said, our latest project has been launched and we are looking for donations. Please read below, to learn more about the latest initiative. May you find it in your heart to donate for the sake of Allah to these children who are in dire need of a proper Islamic education. If you need more "legitimate" information please feel free to contact me @ onechinesemuslimah@gmail.com (SISTERS ONLY, Brother's emails will be rejected RIGHT AWAY)

PLEASE NOTE:

YOUR DONATIONS GO STRICTLY TO THE ORGANIZATION I SWEAR BY ALLAH NONE OF THE MONEY IS KEPT FOR OUR OWN USE (we are still looking for donors and sponsors to aid our humbled, non-profit organization) (I fear Allah, and He is watching me as I write this, I do not lie and the money does not go anywhere else EXCEPT to the organization itself. The organizations we choose, we trust them as well that they will use the donations exactly as needed for the cause).

Al-Noor Academy :

Name of Organization (school): Al Noor Academy

Brief Description of Concerns : To educate the poor children who cannot afford the expensive education of well-off schools

Curriculum : Education of Holy Quran, Islamic Quiz Competitions and trying to provide all those facilities and activities (without any cost) which the other schools provide at higher fees, Special programs and practical work for Hajj and Ramadan months to bring awareness in the kids, Proper NCC Training, Field trips and Science & Art Exhibitions.

How Can Donations Help? : By keeping our dynamics in view, you may help in any way you can, we are helpless financially and economically. We need a space for atleast 3 years to establish ourself and then help ourself after getting established or a small license to work legally.

Bio of the organization:

My name is Amna, a 24 year old working lady, I have been working since more than 6 years, you can say since after my father passed away, we, two sisters decided to financially support our family, after 1 year my elder sister got married so I was working alone and soon my eldest brother also got a better job.

When my father was alive, it was his dream to educate the helpless and needy, he was jobless for more than 10 years, my mother got a job in a school, she used to awake for hours and hours and my father always felt guilty in his heart that his wife has to do all this just because he was jobless. He was also a patient of diabetes. My mother supported my father always, she never let him down. When my sister and I completed our higher studies, we got working in schools in the morning, went for Al-Quran Madrasa in the afternoon, gave tuition to kids in the evening till night. We always got very tired but never complained to our parents, we were happy that ALhumdulillah we are busy in life and away from bad deeds and thoughts, SubhanAllah, Allah has a perfect reason behind everything.

One day my mother's school principal came in our house and said to her that she is very weak now and wants to take retirement, she said that she had seen a small house in a very old area, she want to educate the poor people of that place because their parents are mostly labours and maids and they do not earn enough to educate their kids in big school with lots of fees. She handed over the keys and documents to my mother saying that she trusts her a lot and she wants my mother to this to gain Ajar in this world and the next, she also advised my mother that you should not charge them any fixed amount of fees, if they can pay then let them pay as much as they can be it SR 25 or SR 50, keep it to the least and if they cannot pay then educate them for the sake of Allah. She also told her that it may look like a very very small school or call it a tuition center, but the education provided must be the level of the well known schools. The curriculum must be British or from the OXFORD university press.

My mother was very happy and thankful and so was my father, they both started working on it and established it, my and my sister were too young at that time but we still helped in. Just within 4 years, the school was full of 300 students out of which only 40 to 50 were paying fees as much as they could afford. There were 5 teachers, my mother had to pay the salaries and rents + bills from the school's entire income, so there was no loss no profit. But Alhumdulliah the parents were very happy that their children are being educated, all parents were Sudanis, Egyptians and Pakistanis and 90% of them were without residence permit. The school still had no license because the income was not at all enough for getting a SR 1 million license. Even if we somehow could manage for the license then the our aim of 'Giving best education to the poor and needy' would have been dead. Because their are several conditions to fulfil after getting licensed; the building should be new and in a new area, there must be science lab, library, staff room, 75 computers, latest teachnolgy, blah blah blah which we can never fulfil.

The school was very smoothly running and one day my father passed away. The school had to be closed for 4 month because my mother had to stay in Iddah. There was a teacher in our school who asked my mother not to close the school otherwise the kids will not come back maybe or they will go to different schools. She asked my mother to hand over the school to her for 4 month and after 4 month my mother can come back and restart. So my mother just agreed to handover to her while she kept waiting for her Iddah to be over, and when it did, my mom went back to school after 2 days of Iddah's completion, the teacher refused to move out and said that my mother had SOLD the school, students and furniture to her, ASTAGHFIRULLAH! My mother got very angry but didn't say anything and came back home, many people advised my mother to start her school again in the same old area with the same school name 'Al-Noor Academy' - because it was originally hers! She had complete rights upon its everything!

So my mother started it all over again in the same old area for the same poor kids, now my father was not there so it was me and my brother who helped her all through the process. The kids came back to my mother from the 'teachers occupied' school and soon all the students came back to my mother after knowing she has opened it in a new place, all the parents and students were very attached to my mom, they loved her a lot. The school kept running, now we had 200 students after the restart. 5 teachers. MashaAllah the education given to them was excellent, it was OXFORD course and many activites, field trips, projects, functions, exhibitions and SubhanAllah National Cadets Corps (NCC) training had also started in our school, their special uniforms were stitched in order from Pakistan. It was very small school but we always managed to do everything for these innocent kids. All the expenditures were from our own pockets because there was no fees only 5% were paying. But we kept our faith in Allah very firm and kept on.

This year, we felt the school has a very less space, we found a new location, the rent was reasonable, I told my mother that we will manage to pay it InshaAllah, we moved in the new building, decorated the classrooms etc, the kids were very happy to see this new 'spacious' school MASHALLAH! --- All of a sudden there was a phone call on my mother's mobile, a lady said I want to admit my students in your school, tell us your location, my mom told her and she came in along with a inspection team. That lady was an agent and she came with her secretary and two men from Ministry of Education. We were shocked and kept praying to Allah. But the sealed the school saying that "someone had complained to us about this school is without license and that person gave us your number" - it can be someone nearer to us or there can be so many people who could be enmities Astaghfirullah!!!!

Only Allah knows whoever that can be! But whoever it was, he has spoiled the future of all the working teachers, studying poor kids, and the canteen lady's income that was only from this school she was earning.

For the time being, we had called many students in our home to give them tuitions, but it was not easy to accomodate many in a little house, so we are now teaching them in a nearby apartment. It's rent is very high. Also we have to cover all the dues, loans and payments for the school books we had bought for the students to sell them in half rates, and the advance rents + bills of the previous location and this location. InshaAllah if we get some amount arranged upto SR 15,000 ($4000) or it can be less than it, no problem, then definitely we will do something for these kids who are unable to move to big schools and pay their big fees.
Any help in this matter would be highly highly appreciated and we would remain obliged.
JazakAllah Khairan Katheeran Katheera!

Assalamualaikum wa Rahmatulahi wa Barakatu!!

Eid Al- Adha to you and your beloved ones! May Allah accept our fast these 9 days and forgive us our past and present and future sins! AMEEN !

Just a few tidbits of info to share:

Fasting the first Nine Days of Dhul-Hijjah is a Sunnah
Hunaydah ibn Khaalid narrated upon the authority of his wife who said, “Some of the wives of the Prophet (salallaahu ‘alaihiwasallam) told me that the Prophet (salallaahu ‘alaihiwasallam) used to fast the Day of ‘Aashoorah, the first nine days of Dhul-Hijjah, and three days out of every month*.” (Imam Ahmad, An-Nasaaee)
*- 13th, 14th, and 15th every month
Commentary: Imam An-Nawwawee (rahimahullaah) said with reference to fasting the first nine days of Dhul-Hijjah,
quote:   “It is extremely preferable to do so.”
Fatwah from Shaikh al-’Uthaimeen about fasting first Nine Days of Dhul-Hijjah
A questioner asked Shaikh al-’Uthaimeen (rahimahullaah) the following question:
Question: Oh Shaikh, are there any authentic ahadith that mention fasting the first [nine] days of Dhul-Hijjah?
Answer by Shaikh al-’Uthaimeen:
quote:
“Fasting the first [nine] of Dhul-Hijjah is from the righteous actions without doubt.
And the Prophet salallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam said, “There are not any days in which righteous actions are done that are more beloved to Allaah than these ten days.” They said, “Oh Messenger of Allaah, not even jihad in Allaah’s cause?” He said, “Not even jihad in Allaah’s cause, except for a man who left out with his self and his wealth, and he did not return with either.”
So fasting is included in the general context of this hadith. And there appears a hadith stating that the Messenger of Allaah salallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam used to fast the first ten of Dhul Hijjah, not counting the ‘Eid [in other words, the first nine days of Dhul-Hijjah].
And Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal rahimahullaah takes this position and it is authentic. Fasting in the first ten [of Dhul-Hijjah, excluding the 'Eid] is sunnah. Yes.”

FASTING THE DAY OF ’ARAFAH:
The ninth day of Dhul-Hijjah is the day of ’Arafah, since it is on this day that the pilgrims gather at the mountain plain of ’Arafah, praying and supplicating to their Lord.
It is mustahabb (highly recommended) for those who are not pilgrims to fast on this day, since the Prophet (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) was asked about fasting on the day of ’Arafah, so he said, “It expiates the sins of the past year and the coming year.” [4]
Likewise, the Prophet (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said, ‘There is no day on which Allaah frees people from the Fire more so than on the day of ’Arafah. He comes close to those (people standing on ’Arafah), and then He revels before His Angels saying, ‘What are these people seeking.” [5]
Imaam at-Tirmidhee (d.275H) – rahimahullaah – said, “The People of Knowledge consider it recommended to fast on the day of ’Arafah, except for those at ’Arafah.” [6]

EID PRAYERE AND JUMMAH:

[1] - On the authority of Abu Hurayrah [d. AH 57 or 58] [3], may Allah be pleased with him,
“The Messenger of Allah, prayers and peace upon him, said, ‘Eid prayer and Friday prayer  have fallen on the same day, today. Whoever prays ‘Eid prayer, Friday prayer is not  obligatory on him. As for us, we are going to pray Friday prayer’(Al-Albaanee 179).” [4]
[2] - On the authority of ‘Ataa Abi Rabaah [d. AH 114] [5],
“Ibn Zubayr [d.AH 73] [6] led us in  ‘Eid prayer early one Friday morning. [Later that day] we went out to pray Friday prayer, but  we didn’t see Ibn Zubayr!? Therefore, we prayed by ourselves; and when that happened, Ibn  ‘Abbaas was in Ta’if.
So when we saw Ibn ‘Abbaas [d. AH 68] [7], we asked him (Ibn Abbaas) about Ibn Zubayr not  praying Friday prayer with us. Ibn ‘Abbaas answered by saying, ‘What Ibn Zubayr did (not  praying Friday prayer) was in accordance with Prophetic Tradition (the Sunnah).”
[*] - As-Shaykh Saalih Fawzaan said,
“If ‘Eid prayer falls on the same day as Friday prayer,  whoever prays ‘Eid prayer, it is not obligatory for him to pray Friday prayer. Rather Friday  prayer becomes recommended (sunnah) for him. However, as it relates to the Imam [of the  community], it is obligatory for him to pray both ‘Eid prayer and Friday prayer. He can not  leave off Friday prayer because those who choose to pray Friday prayer need an Imam.  (Fawzaan 2/257).” [8]

SLAUGHTERING ON THE DAY OF AN-NAHR AND ’EEDUL-ADHAA OR THE FOLLOWING THREE DAYS:
The tenth day of Dhul-Hiijah is known as the day of an-Nahr (slaughtering), since it marks the ending of the major rites of Hajj (Pilgrimage), and commemorates the bounty and mercy of Allaah - the Most High - in that He gave His beloved Prophet Ibraaheem - ’alayhis-salaam - a ram to sacrifice in place of his firstborn son Ismaa’eel - ’alayhis-salaam. And out of the ten best days of the year, it is the day of an-Nahr which is the most excellent day of the year with Allaah.
Shaykhul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah (d.728H) - rahimahullaah – said, “The most excellent day of the week is the day of Friday, by the agreement of the Scholars. And the most excellent day of the year is the day of an-Nahr. And some of them said that it is the day of ’Arafah. However, the first opinion is the correct one, since it is related in the Sunan collections that the Prophet (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said, “The most excellent days with Allaah is the day of an-Nahr, then the day of al-Qarr (the day that the Muslims reside in Minaa).” [7]” [8]
The Prophet (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said, “The greatest day of the Hajj (Pilgrimage) is the Day of an-Nahr (Slaughtering).” [9]
The day of an-Nahr is also known as ’Eedul-Adhaa (the Festivity of Sacrifice) and is one of the two major festivals that Allaah has granted to this Ummah. Anas (radiyallaahu ’anhu) said, ‘The Prophet (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) came to al-Madeenah and the people of al-Madeenah had - since the times of jaahiliyyah(Pre-lslaamic Ignorance) - two days which they marked out for play and amusement. So the Prophet (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said, ‘I came to you, and you had two days of play and amusement in the times ofjaahiliyyah. But Allaah has replaced them with something better for you: The day of al-Adhaa (sacrificing) and the day of al-Fitr (ending the Fast).” [10]
The Prophet (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) also said, “The day of al-Fitr, and the day of an-Nahr, and the days of at-Tashreeq (the three days after an-Nahr) are our days of ’Eed (festivity); and they are days of eating and drinking.” [11]
’Eedul-Adhaa, is a day in which the Muslims slaughter a camel, cow, sheep or goat, in commemoration of the sacrifice of Ibraaheem - ’alayis-salaam. And this sacrifice is an obligation upon all those who have the means to do so - according to the most correct opinion of the Scholars. [12] The basis of this is the Prophet’s (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) saying, “One who has the ability to sacrifice, but chooses not to do so, should not approach our place of (’Eed) Prayer.” [13] And his (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) saying, “Whosoever sacrificed before the Prayer, then let him do so again. But whosoever has not sacrificed, then let him sacrifice.” [14] So this order refers to those who have the ability to do so - and Allaah knows best.
As regards those who intends to sacrifice - normally the head of the household - then they are prohibited from cutting their hair or nails, starting from the first day of Dhul-Hijjah up until after the sacrifice. Allaah’s Messenger (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said, “When the ten days start, and one of you intends to sacrifice, then let him not cut his hair or his nails.” [15]
 GLORIFYING ALLAAH WITH THE TAKBEER:
From the day of ’Arafah (the 9th of Dhul-Hijjah), up until the ’Asr Prayer on the thirteen day, are days in which the takbeeraat (saying Allaahu Akbar) should be said. Imaam al-Khattaabee (d.456H) - rahimahullaah – said, “The wisdom behind saying the takbeeraat in these days is that in the times of jaahiliyyah (pre-lslaamic ignorance), they used to slaughter for their tawaagheet (false objects of worship). So the takbeeraat were prescribed in order to indicate that the act of slaughtering is directed to Allaah alone, and by mentioning only His - the Mighty and Majestic - Name.” [16]
Shaykhul-lslaam Ibn Taymiyyah - rahimahullaah – said, “All praise be to Allaah. The most correct saying concerning the takbeer - that which the majority of the Salaf (Pious Predecessors), and the Scholars from the Companions and Imaams were upon - is to begin making the takbeer from Fajr (dawn) on the day of ’Arafah, up until the last day of at-Tashreeq (the thirteenth of Dhul-Hijjah), after every Prayer.” [17]
Ibn Abee Shaybah relates, “That ’Alee (radiyallaahu ’anhu) used to make the takbeer beginning after the FajrPrayer on the day of ’Arafah, up until after the ’Asr Prayer on the last day of at-Tashreeq.” [18]
As regards the actual wording of the takbeeraat, then nothing authentic has been related from the Prophet (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam). However, certain wordings have been authentically related from a group of Companions. From them:
Ibn Mas’ood (radiyallaahu ’anhu) would say, “Allaah is great, Allaah is great. None has the right to be worshipped except Him. And Allaah is great, Allaah is great. And to Him belongs all praise. [Allaahu akbar,Allaahu akbar, Allaahu akbar, Laa ilaahaa illallaah, wallaahu akbar, Allaahu akbar wa lillaahil-hamd.]” [19]
Ibn ’Abbaas (radiyallaahu ’anhu) said, “Allaah is great, Allaah is great, Allaah is great, and to Allaah belongs all praise. Allaah is greater and Sublime. Allaah is greater to what He has guided us to. [Allaahu akbar, Allaahu akbar, Allaahu akbar, wa lillaahil-hamd. Allaahu akbar wa ajalla. Allaahu akbar ’alaa maa hadaanaa.]” [20]
Unfortunately, many Muslims have neglected the takbeer established from our Salaf (Pious Predecessors) and have instead resorted to additions which have no basis at all.
Al-Haafidh Ibn Hajr (d.856H) - rahimahullaah – said, “Indeed, additions have been invented upon this day, which have no basis at all.” [21]
And may Allaah have mercy upon the one who said,
“Every good is in following the Salaf; And every evil is in the innovations of the late-comers.”
And all praise is for Allaah, Lord of the worlds. And may Allaah extol and send the choicest blessings of peace upon our Leader, Muhammad, and upon his Family, his Companions, and all those who follow them.
